So many places promise you a “good” outfit, a “classic” piece, a “sweater to end all sweaters” but US delivers. Literally. If I order online it’s because I’ve been in a store and seen something I might like, see they don’t have my size, and I have to feel the item to be sure my fingers don’t retract. With US, I see loads of what I like, know they have my size and am secure in knowing the feel is marvellous. I have never once had a finger retraction. Quality, luxury, fit, style and selection are mainstays here. And I am always complimented when I wear either an entire outfit or a statement piece. Stay here. They’re worth it.

The stretch cotton Chambray shirtdresses in Cove blue and Dark Indigo fit my style and drape my frame the way they hang boxy but good, so I added the Odeon Stretch Poplin in Spearmint Candy and just recently, black. Trying to age gracefully. They are working out for me!

I went to copy the look on the model as soon as I got this. Of course I'm looking forward to using it as a dress but we have snow over here in the UK currently so wearing as an artists smock with denims and a roll neck is most desired! I love the feel, the details, the versatility of this piece. Might be a smidge long for my 5 foot 5 and a half inch frame, but I don't care. The stripes and the blue make me so happy!

- We had SO much fun seeing peterpanbway at The Ahmanson last night! I have owned 2 versions of this dress. It holds up well. I have worn it boating in Sardinia cooperate parties in London. . . . it's really diverse. I have had them tailored shorter as I like a dress at the knee. It's an easy modification. I only wish it didn't have the pocket. When I ourchased it last year it was without out. It looks more polished and sits better. Pockets are difficult on large busts.
